Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract working the night shift in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role offers a chance to hone your cardiac monitoring and respiratory support skills while managing a patient load of four in a setting equipped with advanced technology like EKG, Bipap/Cpap, and high-flow oxygen. You'll be part of a dedicated team on a unit featuring 8 beds, with a focus on cardiac care, post-surgical recovery, and blood transfusions. The shift runs from 7 PM to 7 AM, giving you a well-defined routine and plenty of time to explore the local area. Your responsibilities will include medication management, rhythm interpretation, and participating in patient assessments—all within a supportive hospital environment that values experienced staff with at least one year of acute care PCU experience.
