Job Description:

Join a dedicated Hospitalist team on a 13-week travel assignment in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a chance to work within a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU), IMC, or Med Surg department, where you'll collaborate with a team of RNs and CNA staff to deliver high-quality care to patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, Covid, post-op knees, hips, and falls. Expect to titrate common drips like Heparin, Amiodarone, and pressors, and utilize Cerner EHR. The unit typically maintains a nurse:patient ratio of 1:3-5 and hosts a charge nurse who may take a small patient assignment or step into a charge role. This assignment requires prior PCU or ICU experience, excellent documentation skills, and certification in ACLS and BLS. You'll also have the opportunity to step into leadership roles, with the charge nurse and nurse supervisor available for support.
