Job Description:

Join a specialized SICU team as a Registered Nurse in New Orleans, LA, for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), providing critical care to high-acuity surgical and transplant patients. This role involves caring for post-operative patients, including those recovering from CABG, valve surgeries, and transplant procedures. Flexibility is key, as there may be instances where you'll be called upon to join emergency response teams or float to different ICU units. Epic experience, along with familiarity with PA catheters and balloon pumps, is preferred. Be prepared to work at a fast pace within a supportive team, and remember, your flexibility is essential when the unit calls for emergency coverage or float assignments.
