Job Description:

This emergency department nursing contract offers a chance to work within a 65-bed pod-based facility, which includes dedicated pediatric and mental health areas. You will engage in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, providing assessment, documentation, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, and patient education. The role emphasizes critical thinking and swift clinical decisions, all while supporting a steady patient census of around 230 visits per day. Expect to collaborate with a team that values experience and professionalism, with a patient ratio of 1:4 and access to EPIC for electronic charting. This assignment is designed for experienced emergency nurses ready to handle diverse cases in a fast-paced setting, without night shift rotations.
