Job Description:

Join an Emergency Department travel assignment in Dubuque, Iowa, working 12-hour nights for 13 weeks. This role is built around emergency-focused workflow, including the ability to accurately drip and titrate common critical care infusions such as cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin. You’ll also manage titration for any and all types of critical care/emergency medicine drips as needed, using your tele measure/read experience to support ongoing assessment and monitoring.

Orientation is provided, and you may receive phone call/text outreach from a 405 area code as part of clinician screening. The assignment welcomes first-time travelers and requires 24 months of recent Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience. There may be a requirement to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays as long as the unit remains open.

Weather:

Expect warm, occasionally humid conditions with a mix of sunshine and passing showers. Evenings are typically mild, with temperatures that can fluctuate through the day.
