Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Orthopedic MS RN on a 13-week contract at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. This role offers 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. You’ll be working with a mix of medical and surgical patients, including conditions like sepsis, UTI, COPD, and wounds, primarily on a unit with 32 beds that’s expanding soon. Expect to handle IV therapies, wound care, heparin infusions, and comprehensive post-surgical assessments. Floats within the hospital are confirmed, with occasional cross-campus assignments requiring timely communication. The team is known for its strong leadership and cohesive spirit, making this a rewarding environment for resilient, adaptable nurses eager to contribute their skills in a teaching hospital setting.
