Job Description:

This 13-week assignment at a prominent medical center in Evansville offers a robust opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical RNs. You will work 12-hour day shifts, primarily on a cardiac and neuro-focused unit with 23 beds. Your duties include managing post-cardiac cath recovery, post-surgical care, titrating IV drips such as Heparin and Insulin, and performing assessment procedures like NIHSS and dysphagia screens. Expect to navigate EPIC charting and coordinate care within a team that values skill, critical thinking, and adaptability. The role involves floating within the unit and occasionally to other nearby campuses within a short notice, ensuring a diverse and engaging work experience.
