Job Description:

Seeking experienced RN for a 13-week contract in Hastings, NE, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role involves providing bedside care in the Medical-Surgical unit, managing patients with conditions such as dementia, post-surgical recovery, influenza, pneumonia, COVID, and cancer. Familiarity with chest tubes, pain management, TPN, CBI, and wounds is preferred. You may also have opportunities to take on charge nurse duties based on experience. The unit features a mix of private beds and a team-oriented environment with nurse aides and telemetry support. The schedule adheres to a block system with some weekend and holiday work, offering a balanced experience in a busy hospital setting. Each week requires about 36 hours of commitment, equipping you with a well-rounded travel nursing opportunity.
