Job Description:

Join a dedicated hospital team in Prestonsburg, KY, as a PCU Registered Nurse. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a 12-hour rotating night shift schedule (19:00 - 07:30), providing specialized care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. You'll be responsible for managing a patient load with ratios of 1:5 or 1:6, using Meditech EMR. The position requires current MS/Tele- PCU experience, valid KY or compact license, and certifications including AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Expect to float within your scope of practice and work every other weekend. Orientation occurs bi-weekly, and schedule adherence is essential, with no blocked scheduling possible. The facility operates on a 36/48-hour pay period, with an estimated gross weekly pay of $2,626. This role is ideal for traveling nurses who reside at least 75 miles away from the facility and are ready to make a positive impact in a structured yet rewarding environment.
