Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in the Progressive Care Unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. You will work 12-hour night shifts, rotating through a unit with 44 beds and a team of 95 staff members. Your primary responsibilities will include neuro and spinal checks, operating equipment such as IV pumps, PCA pumps, chest tubes, and feeding tubes, as well as blood transfusions and other procedures specific to neuro and trauma care. This role requires candidates to be ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certified and experienced in neuro or trauma settings. Expect a fast-paced environment where teamwork and patient focus are crucial, with patient ratios stretching from 4:1 to 5:1 during nights.
