Job Description:

Join our team as a Telemetry Nurse in the picturesque city of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, on a 13-week travel contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical Surgical (Med Surg), and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) departments. You'll be part of a dedicated team providing excellent patient care for a variety of diagnoses, including pneumonia, Covid-19, post-operative knees and hips, and falls. The unit features 12 beds with an additional 4 ICU rooms, and typically maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5, with ICU ratios at 1:3. Expect to engage in complex monitoring, titrating drips like Heparin and Amiodarone, and interpreting remote telemetry strips. Your role will also include assisting with charge responsibilities and collaborating with CNA staff.
