Job Description:

This ICU contract position offers an immersive opportunity for experienced registered nurses to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You’ll be providing specialized care in a Level 1 trauma center, managing complex cases that include neuro, cardiovascular, and trauma patients. Your expertise will be essential in titrating drips like Propofol and Vasopressin, interpreting bedside monitors, and collaborating with a team of hospitalists and intensivists. Expect to navigate a challenging but rewarding role that involves float responsibilities across three ICUs, including Neuro, Medical, and Cardiac units, with shifts primarily during 12-hour nights. The assignment is designed for nurses with no less than three years of recent ICU experience—particularly those comfortable handling neuro and CV cases—ready to tackle a diverse array of critical situations. Weekly hours are set at 36, with a commitment of 13 weeks, offering a chance to sharpen your skills in a lively, professional setting that rewards what you bring to the bedside.
