Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Battle Creek, MI. This role involves providing care in a busy ER overflow observation unit, where you'll focus on frequent reassessment of patients' readiness for discharge in a fast-paced environment. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), floating to other Med Surg units as needed. Flexibility with holiday coverage is essential, as staffing needs vary during peak times. Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not mandatory if your background is strong in medical-surgical nursing. The unit typically manages 5 to 6 patients per RN at night, with a supportive team of LPNs and techs.
