Job Description:

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist on a 13-week contract in Iron Mountain, MI. This role offers an engaging mix of adult and pediatric patient care across various hospital units, including ER, inpatient, OB deliveries, and critical care. You'll be responsible for setting up and managing vents, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow therapy, ABG analysis, nebulizers, and conscious sedation procedures. The job requires responding swiftly to emergencies like RRTs and codes, and being the only RT on site during certain shifts adds an element of independence. The schedule features 12-hour rotating shifts, ensuring a varied work experience. Previous travel experience is highly valued, and familiarity with hospital equipment such as Dräger vents and Phillips V60s will assist in smooth operations.
