Job Description:

Join a dedicated Medical Surgical unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll be central to caring for patients emerging from the OR or ED, with occasional float coverage to ICU/PCU. This 13-week travel contract offers 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30), with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. Experience in MedSurg, ICU, or ED settings is essential, alongside active BLS and preferably NIHSS certifications. IU is offering charge pay for those with at least 2 years of experience, and first-time travelers with the required background are welcome. Be prepared to work during 2/3 major holidays to support continuous patient care. This role provides a chance to work in a community hospital's primary MedSurg unit, managing 8-12 admits daily, with flexible staffing ratios often up to 6:1.
