Job Description:

This 13-week travel opportunity places you in the heart of Wausau, WI, supporting the Labor and Delivery unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM in an 11-bed L&D setting with approximately 1,350 deliveries annually. The role requires active labor and delivery competence, with a focus on managing high patient volumes and ensuring smooth unit operations. During the assignment, you'll experience the uniquely vibrant rhythm of this busy maternity ward, contributing your expertise to a team that handles a dynamic caseload. This opportunity is ideal for RNs outside a 50-mile radius, seeking a structured 36-hour workweek with occasional call-back responsibilities during low census periods. The position emphasizes adherence to safety policies, including mandatory vaccination protocols during flu season, and prioritizes rigorous certification standards such as BLS, NRP, and WI RN licensure. Expect a blend of clinical interactions and coordinating with a seasoned team dedicated to positive birth experiences.
