Job Description:

Join the team at our prestigious Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, providing essential support in a 44-bed unit that cares for neuro and trauma patients. This role offers a unique chance to utilize your ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications while performing neuro and spinal checks, managing chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions. You'll be integral to a well-coordinated team of RNs, CNAs, and charge staff, with patient ratios fluctuating between 4:1 and 5:1. Expect to work with advanced equipment like IV pumps, Skylift, and chest tubes, all within a Cerner electronic medical record environment. This assignment is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused setting and enjoys procedures early in their career.
