Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit, providing essential care to mothers during one of life's most significant moments. You'll be scheduled for 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a flexible schedule of either a 3x12 or 4x12 shift pattern. Expect to handle a nurse-patient ratio of 1:2, ensuring personalized and attentive care. The assignment also involves on-call duties every 6 weeks, with weekend requirements of every other weekend or two weekends per month. Be prepared to meet cert requirements such as ACLS, AWHONN-INT, BLS, NIHSS, and NRP. This contract offers an engaging mix of responsibilities in a vibrant hospital setting where your expertise supports new families during their most memorable moments.
