Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers a unique chance to step into a busy maternity unit, providing both standard and high-risk maternal care. As part of the team, you will perform clinical assessments, monitor fetal wellbeing with advanced fetal monitoring techniques, and assist with labor management during 12-hour night shifts. Opportunities to cross-train into Mother/Baby and float to the NICU (feeders/grower) provide extra variety in your duties. Expect a mix of routine and complex cases, with an average of 2000 deliveries annually, including care for high-risk pregnancies involving maternal-fetal medicine. Shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. Flexibility for approved time off and alternating holiday and weekend coverage make this role both engaging and rewarding.
