Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a vibrant, new facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, working as a registered nurse in a busy emergency department. You'll work 12-hour day shifts for an initial 13-week contract, providing essential care in a 12-bed ED that sees approximately 38 patients each day. Expect to engage in procedures such as cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, PIV starts, TPA administration, and conscious sedation, all within a supportive team environment. The department is staffed with experienced clinicians, including charge nurses, support staff, RTs, and imaging specialists, offering a hands-on experience with advanced technology like EPIC EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell. You may be asked to float within the region to ensure coverage across multiple facilities, including other emergency departments and hospitals, which provides variety and a broader scope of ED practice.
