Job Description:

Join our team as a dedicated healthcare professional in a fast-paced progressive care unit (PCU) at Summit Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts, offering an opportunity to hone your skills in a diverse patient environment. You'll be managing a variety of complex cases, including post-cardiac cath care, stroke management, and patients requiring peritoneal dialysis. The role emphasizes critical thinking, EKG rhythm interpretation, and experience with multiple oxygen delivery systems such as bipaps and high-flow oxygen. Most importantly, you'll work as part of a close-knit team that values a family-like atmosphere and great teamwork, with a self-scheduling policy that puts you in control of your shifts. This assignment offers an engaging experience in a setting where your advanced skills in cardiac, dialysis, and telemetry are put to meaningful use, all while enjoying a balanced schedule with three 12-hour night shifts per week.
