Job Description:

This 13-week travel nursing assignment is a night shift opportunity in Oklahoma City, offering a chance to work closely with patients in an obstetric, postpartum, and newborn care setting within a Level 1 trauma facility. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for managing a designated group of antepartum, postpartum, and newborn patients, documenting responses to interventions, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures. You'll also monitor physiological data, administer medications, and oversee intravenous infusions. The role involves educating patients and families about procedures, coordinating care, and delegating tasks as needed. The position emphasizes clinical expertise in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation (NRP), and emergency protocols like BLS and ACLS, ensuring a comprehensive experience in maternal-child health care. Expect a schedule of 36 hours per week, with shifts spanning 12 hours during overnight hours.
