Job Description:

Join a vibrant NICU team as a Registered Nurse in Kansas City, MO, for a 13-week travel contract that promises a mix of rewarding work and unique experiences. You will be providing specialized neonatal care in a Level II NICU, caring for infants 34 weeks and above, with occasional support for higher acuity or earlier gestational age babies. The role involves night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with responsibilities including attending high-risk deliveries, performing well newborn assessments, and supporting procedures like line placements, intubation, and resuscitation. Expect to work closely with neonatologists via telehealth, perform patient/family teaching, and float within scope to postpartum or well-baby units when census allows. This assignment is perfect for experienced NICU nurses who enjoy a variety of high-stakes procedures in a collaborative environment, all while supporting pediatric patients during the night hours.
