Job Description:

This RN position at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center places you in the ICU of a hospital serving a mix of suburban and rural communities in Pennsylvania. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients with conditions like DKA, STEMI, CVA, and Respiratory Failure. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience a hospital with a small 4-bed ICU, where patient ratios can be as favorable as 1-4 depending on patient needs. Your day-to-day tasks will revolve around managing ventilators, A-lines, IABP, and CPAP equipment, with all documentation done electronically via EPIC. Complete required Pennsylvania clearances beforehand, including fingerprinting and background checks, to ensure smooth onboarding. Expect a weekly guarantee of 36 hours over 13 weeks with the possibility of floating to Medical-Surgical units if needed. The role offers an engaging blend of technology, patient interaction, and clinical challenge within a supportive team environment.
