Job Description:

This ICU travel contract offers a hands-on experience caring for high-acuity surgical patients in a busy Level 2 trauma center. You'll work in a 16-bed ICU, with additional procedural beds, providing advanced care for cardiac, vascular, neurosurgical, and trauma patients. Your responsibilities will include titrating critical drips such as epi, norepi, and dobutamine, as well as managing post-op heart patients cared for by specially trained nurses. The night shift features 12-hour shifts, giving you extended periods to enjoy the local scenery when not on duty. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment where your skills with ventilators, bedside monitoring, and complex medication titrations will be essential. This role is perfect for experienced ICU RNs who thrive on high acuity and collaborative teamwork.
