Job Description:

This CVICU RN contract offers a chance to work in a specialized cardiac care unit with a focus on post open heart surgery and cardiac medical patients. The role involves managing ventilators, trachs, and complex monitoring equipment, including Epic systems, Omnicell medication management, and advanced bedside devices. Expect to care for post-heart cath recovery patients, manage long-term ventilated patients, and handle vasoactive medication titrations. The assignment features 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, with floating to various units such as ICU, IMCU, ED, and med-surg as needed. You'll be supported through a comprehensive 12-hour orientation and work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
