Job Description:

This travel assignment places you as a registered Cardio Vascular Nurse in an excellent facility near Springfield, Illinois. The role involves working night shifts on a 12-hour schedule for 13 weeks, focusing on patients recovering from procedures like PCI and bypass surgeries. Experience with open heart cases, sheath pulls, and CRRT is highly preferred. You'll interpret telemetry strips from advanced monitors such as Draeger systems and may need to titrate drips, supported by a dedicated team of intensivists and hospitalists available 24/7. Prepare to demonstrate your expertise in ICU equipment, including vents and BiPaps, in a supportive environment that values technical skill and patient safety. Be aware of the prior requirement of 4 hours of billable computer modules scheduled before your start to ensure smooth onboarding.
