Job Description:

Join a renowned hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in cardiac care. This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a busy cardiac stepdown unit within a Level I Trauma Center. You’ll be responsible for caring for medical/surgical cardiac patients, including those undergoing pre- and post-operative procedures, with responsibilities that include managing chest tubes and pacer wires. Shifted to daytime hours, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, you'll experience a dynamic environment that keeps you on your toes. Your expertise will be essential in balancing patient needs and unit flow, with the chance to float within scope as needed. This role also offers tele-training experience, making it ideal for RNs with at least two years of experience who are comfortable handling a variety of cardiac cases in a fast-paced setting.
