Job Description:

Join a busy hospital environment in Shreveport, LA, as a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. Your role will involve managing patients post urological surgeries such as robotic prostatectomies and nephrectomies, as well as handling Med/surg overflow patients with conditions like sepsis, DVT/PE, and COPD. You’ll be expected to interpret cardiac rhythms, manage wounds, and perform IV procedures in a setting that emphasizes educational growth. The shift is 12 hours during the day, with a rotation every other weekend, and a focus on maintaining patient safety and comfort. This assignment offers a chance to experience a newer specialty focus while working in a supportive team that includes in-house hospitalists, lab support, and therapy services.
