Job Description:

This contract opportunity seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the IMC (2 West) unit at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital for a 13-week assignment. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, providing care to adult patients in a 24-bed intermediate care setting. The unit emphasizes neuro stepdown and cardiac telemetry, so familiarity with IV starts, blood product administration, respiratory support, and cardiac monitoring is essential. The RN will be part of a team managing complex patient needs, including post-MI, cardiac caths, dysrhythmia interpretation, and post-hemodialysis care. Structured for an energetic professional, this role offers an engaging mix of technical skills and critical thinking while floating within qualified units as needed to support a busy hospital environment. The assignment provides a unique chance to gain experience in a well-regarded facility with a strong focus on specialized adult care, all while working in a collaborative and supportive team setting.
