Job Description:

Join a step-down IMCU float pool as a Registered Nurse, working 12-hour night shifts that keep your days free. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to provide specialized care on a 24-bed unit, with occasional pediatric patients. You will float to MedSurg based on patient volume and must be comfortable with telemetry monitoring, EPIC EMR, and handling a patient ratio of up to 5:1. Your nights will be filled with engaging clinical challenges, including responding to emergent needs, coordinating patient care, and supporting your team during busy hours. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of IMCU or telemetry experience, current active North Carolina licensure, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS. Expect to work three 12-hour night shifts weekly, with up to two weekends per month. Block scheduling may be considered if requested upfront.
