Job Description:

This fourteen-week travel assignment in Wheeling, WV, offers a unique opportunity for experienced RNs to work in a fast-paced cardiac unit. You will be responsible for managing patients with conditions such as atrial fibrillation, CHF, NSTEMI, and post-operative cases like lobectomies and wedge resections. The shift consists of 12-hour rotating days and nights, with a robust support staff including RTs available around the clock. Your role will involve titrating medications like Cardizem and heparin, interpreting monitor strips, and collaborating with charge nurses who take full patient assignments. This position emphasizes independent managing of cardiac patients within a structured environment, providing you with a chance to hone specialized skills amid a vibrant team.
