Job Description:

Join the Aspirus Wausau Short Stay Unit as a traveling Clinical Nurse in a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to work in a newly opening, 8-bed observation unit that handles a variety of cases including anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, and pre/post-op urology and GI. You will be providing care in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on quick patient turnover, averaging stays of up to 48 hours. The shift is 12-hour nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with floating to inpatient units like IMC and CTU as needed. Expect to work every other weekend and holiday. This assignment is perfect for resilient, adaptable nurses comfortable managing change and working independently, with the reward of contributing to a team that values collaboration and positive attitudes.
