Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment places you in a bustling 16-bed medical/surgical unit at Corpus Christi Medical Center. You'll support a diverse patient load, including both med/surg and Covid-positive patients, with patient ratios up to 6:1. Your role involves performing standard nursing procedures such as IV insertions, urinary catheter management, medication administration, and maintaining accurate documentation in Meditech EHR. Expect to care for 4-6 patients simultaneously, working 12-hour day shifts over a 13-week contract. This assignment offers a dynamic environment where your acute med/surg experience will directly impact patient recovery, all while exploring a vibrant coastal city.
