Job Description:

Join UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM) in a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting that specializes in high-acuity care for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. You’ll be diving into a rehabilitation environment that functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit, supporting patients' highest possible recovery. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of inpatient rehab or skilled nursing experience, preferably with Med-Surg background, and be comfortable responding to call lights and assisting with patient safety across high-acuity situations. You’ll gain valuable experience with EPIC charting and work with advanced mobility equipment like ceiling lifts and slide boards within a team dedicated to helping patients return home.
