Job Description:

Join a dedicated critical care team in Lufkin, TX, for a 13-week travel contract focusing on intensive patient monitoring in a 27-bed unit. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7AM to 7PM, providing vital care for patients requiring a high level of expertise. This assignment offers opportunities to experience a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio that can range from 2:1 to 4:1, depending on acuity. Prepare to hit the ground running with proper licensure, BLS, ACLS, and at least two years of critical care experience. The facility uses Medhost EMR, and the role involves being flexible for possible call and float duties. Previous travel experience preferred, and travelers must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility. Expect an engaging assignment designed to hone your critical care skills amidst a supportive team.
