Job Description:

This ICU nursing contract in Gillette, Wyoming offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across 11 beds, including ICU and Tele units. You will manage ventilated patients, post-cardiac cath cases, IABP support, sepsis, COPD, post-op surgical recovery, trauma, and limited neuro cases. The role involves operating Meditec charting systems, bedside medication verification, and utilizing equipment such as ventilators, Bipap, Swan monitors, Phillips monitors, IV pumps, and transvenous pacers. With a minimum of 6 months of ICU experience, you’ll have the chance to demonstrate your expertise in a fast-paced environment while supporting both adult and occasional pediatric patients with emergencies like RSV and DKA. The schedule is flexible, with 12-hour shifts—vacillating between rotating or straight shifts—offering a well-rounded and rewarding assignment for experienced ICU RNs.
