Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a fantastic opportunity for new graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a high-stakes setting. You'll be working in one of several Level 1 through Level 4 trauma centers located in Bettendorf, Iowa, or nearby cities. The role involves providing critical support during 12-hour day shifts over a 13-week assignment. The position requires familiarity with a range of drips such as heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amio. Your responsibilities will include managing these infusions, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. Successful candidates will have a valid license, recent skills checklist completion, and current certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. If you’ve completed at least one travel contract and have experience with Epic, this might be a perfect fit. Note that candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility unless in Madison, where a 10-mile local radius is accepted.
