Job Description:

Join the healthcare team as a Progressive Care RN in Hilo, Hawaii, where you'll be an essential part of a 15-bed unit that balances a blend of step-down ICU care and telemetry monitoring. You will manage primary nursing responsibilities, interpret telemetry strips, monitor blood sugars, and utilize Meditech for charting alongside Pyxis medication dispensing and advanced equipment like BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitors. The role offers a unique chance to work in a setting that requires flexibility, including floating to other in-house units such as Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER, providing you with varied clinical experiences. This position involves scheduled 36-hour weeks following orientation, with no guarantee of hours and no call duties, making it a focused and predictable schedule for those eager to be involved in acute care. If you have at least one year of recent hospital acute care experience, preferably in telemetry or progressive care, this assignment invites you to make a difference in a vibrant community.
