Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you on the specialized PCU (Progressive Care Unit) floor at a facility renowned for handling complex neurological and trauma cases. As a registered nurse, you'll be managing a diverse range of patients with neuro, spinal, trauma, and orthopedic injuries, including strokes, seizures, and post-thrombectomy care. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts, with a focus on ventilator and trach care, on-site drip titration, and supporting patients through intense and varied medical journeys. The unit values experienced RNs who can adapt quickly, especially those comfortable with ventilator management and step-down care, with an open attitude toward learning new skills like vent training where necessary. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to refine neuro and trauma nursing skills while working in a fast-paced environment that demands both independence and teamwork.
