Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse on a 13-week MedSurg/Telemetry contract at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Shelby, NC. The role involves providing bedside care in a 32-bed unit with an average of 32 patients daily. You'll interpret cardiac rhythms, manage non-titrating cardiac drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone, and handle wound care, drain and tube management, as well as central line procedures. This assignment offers the opportunity to experience a busy teaching hospital environment, with a focus on patient stability and recovery. Expect a stimulating workday with a variety of patient diagnoses including stroke, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, and more. The shift is 12 hours overnight, with the flexibility to float within the region as needed.
