Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you in a busy surgical unit, focusing on complex post-operative recovery for patients who have undergone bariatric, urology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, or trauma surgeries. You will manage patients with multiple drains, wound vacs, and central lines, often working with epidurals and PCA pumps to control pain. The role involves interpreting dysrhythmias, managing various tubes and lines, and responding swiftly to rapid response and code team activations. Shifts are 12 hours, during daytime hours, with a chance to float within your scope across different departments to meet patient needs. Your expertise in surgical patient management will be critical in this fast-paced environment, supporting patients through their recovery journey amid a collaborative team.
