Job Description:

Step into a travel contract as a PCU Registered Nurse supporting Medical Oncology on a 36-bed oncology telemetry unit in Columbus, Ohio. This assignment centers on high-acuity progressive care work, with a small portion of med-surg responsibilities and occasional pediatric patients that are extremely rare. You’ll work with oncology-focused equipment and workflows, including telemetry monitoring with GE systems, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds, continuous bladder irrigation, PCA pumps, and common central line and infusion support tasks.

What makes this contract unique: a structured onboarding that begins with a Mon–Fri dayshift orientation week, followed by 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor. After that, night scheduling is typically 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30), with shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on staffing priorities. You’ll also be expected to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity and put infection prevention and fall prevention protocols front and center.
