Job Description:

This 13-week contract as a PCU Registered Nurse offers a chance to work across multiple Med/Surg Intermediate and PCU departments in a vibrant hospital setting. You'll be scheduled for 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, floating between approximately five units and across various metro campuses to meet patient needs. Your role involves interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, supporting cardiac procedures, and providing comprehensive care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, stroke, COVID, and renal failure. This position is perfect for nurses with 1 to 2 years of experience eager to diversify their skill set and adapt to different units within a fast-paced environment. The schedule includes eight weekend shifts over six weeks, with no guaranteed hours beyond three shifts per week, and no on-call requirements. As a float pool position, flexibility and the ability to quickly acclimate to new units are essential. First-timers are welcome to apply, and certifications in BLS and NIHSS are required, with ACLS preferred.
