Job Description:

Join a busy Labor & Delivery unit as a registered nurse, where you'll be the key caregiver during an active birth environment. Your role involves managing labor and postpartum care, supporting new mothers, and assisting in the newborn nursery—sometimes stepping into charge nurse duties after training. You'll experience approximately 40 deliveries and a few cesarean sections each month, working 12-hour day shifts. This assignment offers a chance to apply your five or more years of recent labor and delivery experience, including neonatal and postpartum care, in a setting that values skilled, adaptable professionals. There may be occasions to float to related departments or handle additional tasks such as answering call lights or phones. An AHA ACLS or BLS certification, along with NRP and AWHONN Advanced FHM, are required, with options for substitutes based on credentials. This role provides meaningful patient interactions and keeps your skills sharp in an energetic environment.
