Job Description:

This contract opportunity is perfect for a Registered Nurse experienced in MS/Telemetry and medical/surgical adult care, with at least two years of prior bedside experience. You'll be working in an Emergency Department Holding unit that functions as a buffer for patients waiting for inpatient beds, often managing high-acuity cases with various diagnoses. The role involves float assignments to ED, MedSurg, and PCU areas, providing a diverse clinical experience. Expect to monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, administer blood products, and manage complex respiratory equipment such as CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula. The shift is night hours—4 days of 12-hour shifts—covering a busy, mixed-unit environment that demands adaptability and quick decision-making. This assignment offers a unique chance to broaden your acute care skills in a fast-paced, high-demand setting.
