Job Description:

This 16-week travel RN contract is based in Rochester, NY, within the Med Surg Float Pool. You will float between various Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, providing direct nursing support during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a rotation to day shifts. The schedule includes approximately 36 hours per week, with flexibility needed for weekend work, holidays, and occasional unit changes. You'll get to experience a variety of patient cases across different units, making each shift both engaging and diverse. The role requires recent acute Med Surg or Tele experience, along with an active NY RN license and BLS certification. Charting is done in EPIC, and the environment is fast-paced, demanding adaptability and a proactive approach. This assignment offers a chance to work in a hospital setting that values versatile, experienced nurses ready to step into a floating role during a busy period.
