Job Description:

This Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse role offers a unique opportunity to work across a variety of pediatric units, including PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother baby. You'll be stepping into different settings on a night shift schedule, floating to where your skills are most needed, providing essential support to critically ill children and their families. Prior PICU and NICU experience are required, and you'll need to be comfortable with peds work. The position involves night shifts of 12 hours, with every other weekend and holiday off. The assignment lasts for 13 weeks, and you'll be expected to work approximately 48 hours per week. This role includes clinical responsibilities that require adherence to specific policies, along with certifications such as BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS. Familiarity with Epic electronic health records is also necessary. It’s a chance to showcase your pediatric critical care expertise in a floating capacity while experiencing a variety of pediatric settings.
