Job Description:

This RN role is based in a state-of-the-art behavioral health unit focused on adult patients with complex mental health needs, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and major depression. The position is situated on a dedicated forensic unit within Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, offering a unique blend of challenging and rewarding work in a supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include medication administration via Omni Cell, patient monitoring, and engaging with a team of psychiatrists, social workers, and rehab staff. The shift runs from 7A to 3:30P for 40 hours weekly over a 13-week contract, with every other weekend on call-free, giving you a balanced work-life experience.
