Job Description:

Join a Pediatric Behavioral Health unit as a Registered Nurse, working 12-hour day shifts in a dedicated children's acute care hospital. This role involves providing direct care in a specialized psychiatric setting, completing daily assessments, administering medications, and assisting behavioral health techs. There may be opportunities to float within scope, including supporting the ED behavioral health pods or serving as a 1:1 observer, adding variety to your shift. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication and de-escalation skills, experience with EPIC charting, and pediatric experience is preferred. This assignment offers a chance to work within a close-knit team in a teaching hospital environment, focusing on pediatric behavioral health in a facility with 14 staffed beds and access to advanced training through BJC.
